Assistant Principal - Mission and Identity
St Pius X College
St Pius X College, Chatswood is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and highly qualified teacher to lead the Mission and Identity Team consisting of a Religious Education Coordinator and Social Justice Coordinator to commence as soon as practical.
This role gives life to the Christian Values and Catholic Identity of St Pius X College as an Edmund Rice School.
The successful applicant will be highly qualified and committed to leading the Mission and Identity of the College in the Edmund Rice tradition.
Competencies
The successful applicant will possess leadership competencies characterised by:
• A clear understanding of, passion for and commitment to the Mission of Catholic Education;
• A strong capacity to lead the Edmund Rice ethos of the College;
• A highly interpersonal style, with high standards of professionalism, organisation and enthusiasm;
• A proven ability to relate to boys and a practical knowledge of boys’ educational issues and initiatives.
Qualifications
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications:
• Completed further studies in Religious Education and/or Theological Studies;
• Have accreditation to teach Religious Education;
• Have the ability to teach Religious Education from Year 7 to 12.
