Science Leader of Learning
St Edward's College
Principal Mark Bonnici invites suitably qualified and experienced teachers to indicate their interest and willingness to fulfil this position. This position is a significant permanent fulltime leadership role supporting quality teaching and learning in a thriving educational setting.
The role of the Science Leader of Learning is to promote the College and Edmund Rice ethos through strategic leadership of the College learning agenda in collaboration with the Leader of Learning Team and teaching staff. In so doing, the Science Leader of Learning demonstrates an affinity with the Catholic philosophy and values as expressed in the Charter for Edmund Rice Schools and promotes excellence in teaching and learning practices especially as they relate to the education of boys.
The Science Leader of Learning is an excellent teacher in terms of knowledge of contemporary teaching methodology, creativity and innovation, classroom management, methods of evaluation and professional development.
